Finland is celebrating European Carers Day
Carers Finland is organizing, for the second time, Finnish Carers Parliament on 6.10. to celebrate carers and is taking this opportunity to combine also Carers Finland´s 30th anniversary as well as the European Carers Day in the same occasion. The Parliament will bring together carers, decision makers and professionals. The speakers include the Minister of Family Affairs Krista Kiuru and Social Services and Eurocarers Executive Director Stecy Yghemonos. Four carers – one of whom is a young adult carer – discuss various topics of care with researchers, MPs and other professionals. The Parliament will conclude with a dance performance that makes a statement about the meaning of care.
